Bali Trip Day 1

Finally got time to blog about my Bali Trip during my sem break! WOOHOO!!!
It was definitely an unforgettable trip with my darling! YES!! I'm super duper thankful to her to acc me for the last minutes even though she was so so so POOR! Love u heaps!!
This was my first time sign for ground tour and honestly I always loved Free & Easy because I can go wherever i want without any time constraint so it took me quite a while to consider whether to plan myself or follow the tour. One of the reason also because I got no time to plan from the beginning.

AND THE OUTCOME TURN OUT TO EXTREMELY GOOD! I'M SO GLAD THAT I SIGN UP THIS TOUR! BECAUSE IT HELPED ME SAVE A LOT! =)

Okay, how much do i spent for the whole trip? I booked my zero fare ticket from AA for RM186 return and the whole trip I spent around 1k included my own expenses! This is super duper cheap because it included so much things for the ground tour!
Here are few tips to travel in a budget way at Bali and i hoped it helps those who wish to go there. Especially with small number in a group =)
1. If you wish you go all the main attraction and it's your first time there, I would suggest you to go for ground tour because it can help you save a lot.
2. Transportation in Bali is so not convenient and to rent a car plus driver it is at least RM150+ per day, if you are travel at 2 like me, you will have to spend a lot. (not include a tour guide also, but the driver there is kinda experience)
3. All the main attraction are not in a area but in few different area so it takes time to reach those destination.
4. If you just want to chill and relax, then go for free & easy dont go for ground tour =D

As hee hee depart earlier one night than me so she overnight at the airport and waited for me! Plus my flight delayed for more than 1 hour! SIGH!! So sorry my dear let you grew mushroom there! HAHA
Bali international airport had just done their renovation and it was BIG!

There were so many people taking a paper and I was very excited to see my name on the paper! First time ever got people welcome me at another country =)
*I can easily spot my guide because he was the most colourful guide in the crowd! HAHAHA

WOOHOO finally met her after so long! Sorry for the delayed! It was AA's fault ok ? HEHE
It was our first trip together HAHAHA and she said she acc her 2 sisters went to the same place continuously for 2 years! Last year was with Amelia and now with me! =D

Oh HELLO BALI! Got free flower necklace as our welcome gift!
SO NICE!! Oh did I forgot to mention that the ground tour included everything only excluded my shopping fees? Too Awesome!

He was our driver, so yeah this was our car for the entire trip! We felt like a princess! OMG! Got a tour  guide and a driver to take care of us! Open the door for me every time and we no longer need to worry nobody helped us to take photo! HAHAHA

Too excited OMG!! it was 2 in the afternoon when I reached
Then we proceed to Hotel and check in =)

Yes, stayed at Everyday Smart Hotel because it was the cheapest in the ground tour list! HAHAHA
Kinda comfortable and got ASTRO also =)
But no swimming pool which was a good thing because we wont stay in the pool

It's our Free & Easy time before our guide - Abang Gusting picked us up for dinner and souvenirs shopping. So we rest awhile and went out the street to explore. Our hotel was located at Kuta Area. The most happening area in Bali! HEHEHE

Hello from Bali =)

we were too hungry as I only had my breakfast so we decided to have the authentic mee cup in Bali.
2 sakai asked the shopkeeper which mee cup the nicest HAHAHA!

After exploring then we proceed to Oleh-Oleh (Their souvenirs shop)
We only got half an hour to shop here and there were too much things there! That's the only time I shop for souvenirs in a rush =.=

Then, we went for dinner at a chinese restaurant, and we were like booked the whole restaurant to become ours! OMG!! Kinda worry for the food but it turned out to pretty nice!
Yes, the dinner for 2 of us! One of the thing about ground tour was that there were alot of surprises await you because you got no idea where you are going to eat and what kind of food will you have!

The 2 princess were having dinner while the driver and guide waited at outside! HAHAHA!
I felt so paiseh because I don't like people to wait for me like this @@
Finished dinner then we backed to hotel at 8 sth.

THE NIGHT WAS STILL YOUNG! =D
So, we wanted to walked to the beach even though we donno at where and without a map. The receptionist told us that it was just 15-20 minutes walk to the beach so we didn't hesitate just walked.

Played around with our free gift - sarong
FOC of the ground - 1 local sim card, a sarong each and 1 hour body massage each =D

And during halfway, I got attracted by a beautiful restaurant in a small alley so we had lost our way to the beach! So, at last we still reached the beach. But it's not Kuta Beach, it's Legian Beach! HAHAHA

It was so dark on the beach but it was super super beautiful!!!So many dazzling stars on the sky!

See how tall we were! HEHEHE

Attracted by the corn and the sauce was so special!

Went to Circle K to buy beer and chill on the beach! So long we didn't talk like this!
We talked for hours until 12 midnight and just realised we forgot how the way back to hotel =0
We just kept walking and asked the people there but nobody knew where was our hotel @@'' because Bali got too many hotel! So RMB guys, rmb the street name but not the hotel name.
Was quite worry that time but luckily I remembered I got tag location while I uploaded photo to Instagram! Thank God!

Then, we stopped in front a mamak stall and asked the seller how to go to that place.
THEN THEN THEN, an uncle who tapao food there said he lived in that area and offered us a free ride back to hotel! OMG!
Yes! 3 of us ride on his bike and he sent us home!! And it was 1 something in the midnight =0 I can't imagine how long we gonna take if we walked home!

Yes, thanks uncle Bernard! It's awesome to meet so many kind people in a trip!
Truly blessed!

That's all for day 1!
To Be Continue!

2D1N Kuala Selangor & Sekinchan Trip

Hello to my readers, sorry for not updating my blog for so long as I seriously did not have the time to do so Sigh! However, I take the initiative to blog about this trip which I went during last weekend with my friends. Perfect getaway for KL people to relax and enjoy their life away from the hectic city life.

Highlights of the trip will be the firefly watching & eagle feeding!
U no longer need to go to Langkawi for eagle feeding!
And also the awesome paddy field in Sekinchan which I mad love in it!

It was less than 2 hours drive from KL to Kuala Selangor so we rent a van that can accomodate 10 of us and departed at 10 sth in the morning

Reach there at around noon time so we decided to have some food because some of us just jumped into the car without having breakfast
I liked the place and it's just a small village which is so alike as Lundu in Kuching.

Fried Kueh Tiao RM4
It was kinda yummy

Dumpling soup and mee RM4.50

Special kind of chicken rice RM4.50
Why i said it was special is because this made us recalled the memories of having chicken rice during our primary school! Chicken rice that wrapped in a plastic paper!
AHH! Childhood memories!!

Then, we went to the shop that sell local goods.
The prawn keropok is a MUST to buy because it was made freshly every week!
Super duper love it!
This shop is the FIRST shop that sell the local snacks in kuala selangor

This is the owner of the shop which had been interviewed by all kinds of newspaper and even on TV! =) *Actually this trip was my second time there so the pic above was me with my long hair the first time i went there! HEHE

Then, we checked in Apps Hotel, the place where we gonna stayed for one night. It was a brand new hotel in Kuala Selangor and everything was good and new!

The room was comfy and bed was soft HAHAHA

Shampoo, shower cap, soap, toothbrush, towel, hair dryers and slippers are provided as well!
There are also fridge and kettle in the room!
That's when u can have mee cup in the midnight HEHEHE

Then, we went to Bukit Melawati
Board on the train to go inside
It cost RM5 per pax

The big boom in Bukit Melawati

The 3 tourism cuties HAHAHA

The landmark of Kuala Selangor

On our way to see the monkey

There are so many shit on the road! Be careful!

M so excited because I going to feed the monkey! WOOHOO

I'm not kidding seriously there are whole row of monkeys waiting for us!
OMG!! surprisingly, they are so friendly and they do not simply attack human with foods!

So we can go near them and take picture with them

This fella is enjoying the banana given by Ting

Me feeding the monkey! After a while, a shit monkey snatch my whole bunch of banana! Ishhh!
Because at first I was so proud telling all of them i got 14 bananas that only cost RM1 (because Ting bought at RM3 for few), but at last, i left 1 banana on hand. =(

Monkey mummy and her baby! SO CUTE!!

Ting's banana that cost RM3 (Don't buy at the front stall)

So each of us bought something to feed the monkeys! See my RM1 big bunch of unripe bananas!
*Monkey loved sweet potatoes than any other things! Clever Hee and Amber bought sweet potatoes for RM1 as well

See the Proud face of the monkey enjoying his sweet potato!
The monkey inside was considered friendly animal =p

HAHAHA! consequences of having too much sweet potatoes on hand so Amber kena aimed by monkey. They snatch and run away. No worry, they did not attack her. HEHE
Then, we went to a small aquarium in Bukit Melawati.

After that, it's time for Eagle feeding! WOOHOO!
The jetty was just behind the hotel that we stayed

Group photo! Teh Tarik river HAHA

Excited to see the eagles

On the boat ready to go people!

Big wind and also big sun!

There are several species of eagles at there and there are many families of eagle also!
Eagle feeding time! Many many eagle! Definitely more than the one I saw in Langkawi!

They flew from all kind of directions

A very unique experience that you should witnessed by your own!

They loved to eat chicken skin

Thanks the boss who treat us coconut because me and ling hui answered his question correctly! He was so friendly! =D

Then, we go back to take a rest and come down again for our seafood dinner!
Loved the food there because it was yummy! especially the asam fish because Ting can eat 3 bowl of rice with this dish! HAHA

After dinner, is the most exciting activities of the trip! We going to see fireflies! I hadn't seen any before in my life because this little cute things was kinda hard to find in city area.
And Kuala Selangor is one of the place in Malaysia that offers you this Unique Experience!

SERIOUSLY, AS A LOCAL HERE, YOU SHOULD NOT MISS THIS!
AS A FOREIGNER, YOU SHOULD GO THIS TRIP TOO TO EXPERIENCE THE NATURE IN MALAYSIA

Dress up ourself at the night because it was so dark!

On the way to look for fireflies!

And there are many fireflies there and there were so amazingly beautiful! I don't have any photo because it was so hard to capture in the night! So, go grab the chance and witness them yourself before they disappear in this world! Their lifespan was so short!

Firefly is the cute little creature who wear a bulb on the butt! =D

Then we went to see these birds sleeping on the tree! Sorry birdys we should't wake u guys up!HEHE
After about 45 minutes, we headed back to hotel and Sing K on the lounge of the hotel.
End our night with beers and poker cards HAHA

The next morning, woke up and had breakfast on one of the local stalls in Sekinchan

A fishing village like Pulau Ketam

Loved the fishballs because it was so fresh!!! I wished to buy some home but mummy not here! If not she gonna cook it for me!

Then we went to Redang Beach in Sekinchan! If you watched the Hong Kong Drama 单恋双城, some parts were filmed at this beach!

The wishing tree

The creative people over there used this chair as a swing and trust me it was SO COMFORTABLE!!

The hammock by fishing net

Plastic chair swing, have you seen before? Talented right? HEHE

Hammock in the house!

It was so enjoying here that I can fall asleep within seconds!

Spot someone? HEHE

I'm a happy girl because there are many seashells on the seashore!
Kuching used to have alot during the olden days but now not anymore =(

Seashells~~~~~~

Selfies with our seashells!

Hello Sekinchan

After that, we proceed to a Super beautiful place which was the paddy field in Sekinchan!
But firstly, lets visit the rice factory first
Welcome to Sekinchan Paddy Field

There will have a guide explain to you the process of the rice that you eat now

Type of rice

How long have you been not having RICE with your family?
I missed the eating moments with my family! =(

The food that sold in the restaurant of the rice factory and all of it was yummy!
Worth a try!

Then, we going to explore the paddy field! And there were many photos taken! HEHE All of them was too beautiful so I gonna post out all! Skip the photo if you felt bored seeing my face =P

No regret to see such beautiful paddy field!
