Sushi Zanmai

Finally went to Sushi Zanmai after seeing many people post it in instagram! And a great thing was that le brother brought me out so all expenses will be on him! HEHEHE! I knew I'm an evil sister =p
Went to Midvalley Megamall because there was Pc Expo there.

Sushi Zanmai located at The Garden Mall. Near Borders and beside Spice of India.
Tried Pasta Zanmai last time and will blogged about it soon!
Actually wanted to try Sushi Zanmai but......

Long queue! Everytime we went it had a long queue. No matter at what shopping mall. The one i saw without long queue was at Fahrenheit 88 I think.
So, we decided to wait here. But surprisingly it was quite fast to be served. I guessed we queue at around 5.45pm then before 6.30pm we got our seat.

Sushi Zanmai with variety of choices

A glass of cold green tea cost RM1 and it was refillable!
Brother the water tank drank 4 glasses i guessed! =D

Wasabi my all times favourite!

Sorry to let you bent your head as this sign was so small and hard for my apple to take photo.
Therefore I'm hoping to get a camera!

Sushi on the roller, we took the blue plate and a black plate.
Blue plate cost RM2.80
Black plate cost RM4.80

My Chicken Katsudon RM8.80 (Small)
It was nice and the portion was quite big although it was small. The rice mixed with some mushrooms cooked with kind of soya sauce. The chicken was perfectly fried.
rated: 9/10

Brother's Karaage Don RM8.80 (Small)
I tried the chicken and taste not bad.

Ebi Okonomiyaki RM12.80
A kind of japanese pancake with lotsa baby shrimp on top.
rated:8/10
*i prefer adult prawn than baby prawn. HAHA personal opinion, however this dish taste nice.

Closer view for the pancake

Dynamic Roll RM13.80
It was the promotion for the last week of May.
Wrapped with fresh veges and squid.
rated: 6/10

The dynamic roll =D

So our total bill after taxes were RM62.40 which was kinda cheap as compared to other Japanese restaurant. And most important part is WE WERE VERY FULL and satisfied with it.
No wonder so many people queue la~

That's all =)

Yuki's 21st Birthday

Yeah, first birthday celebration in KL goes to Miss Yuki! Her actual big day was on last Saturday but because I went back to Kuching on the weekends, so we celebrated earlier!
Went Papa Johns for lunch as we had too much vouchers given by the college. =D

She didn't knew we wanted to celebrate birthday with her because it was only Thursday! HAHAHA!
Cheated her to go lunch at there.
There we go!

Each of us ordered a set lunch which costed RM9.90 before taxes.
It consisted of a bowl of mushroom soups, a cup of softdrinks and a main course.

I loved their mushroom soup! It was way better a lot than Pizza Hut one. Not the powder kind of soup.

The sauces, the yellowish one was the garlic sauce and the red one was their homemade pizza sauce.
The pizza sauce a little tomato-ish for me. HEHE.

I chose pizza as my main course. Looked at the cheese topping, WOOTS!

Some of them chose baked rice as their main course.

This was my set lunch that costed RM9.90! It's cheap!

We also ordered a large pizza because we had 50% off vouchers!
Super Papa with chicken.
After discount was RM16 only.

A total of 8 slices pizza so each of us took one.
The total for per pax was RM14. I was extremely full after eaten so many slices of pizza!

After eating, the staff came out with the birthday cake that we prepared earlier and sang Happy Birthday song out loud!
She was so shock and never estimated that this was going to happen! HEHE

Her happy face and we knew our surprise was a success!!
HAPPY 21ST BIRTHDAY TO U!!!
The last pic was her with a book with vouchers that the management of Papa John gave her as birthday present!

We got a book of vouchers like this and this was totally worth it! The service of Papa John was great and the staff was very polite and friendly.

The group of 8 =)

Finally you were 21st! Wish u had an unforgettable birthday this year!

Finally went there after Leslie kept introduced to me for so long. One of the Friday, I helped Leslie to queue for SHE concert ticket and then he belanja me makan! HAHA!

It was an Italian restaurant and located at Pavilion.

This promotion last until 31st of May and it was extremely worth! You can choose any spaghetti you wan and they charge for the one that more expensive.

He was so happy after he had bought the concert ticket!
I was so happy because I no need to pay for this meal!

Soup of the day, kind of vege soup. Taste not bad and it was free! print out the vouchers and you can redeem!

Leslie's meatball spaghetti, the meatballs was very yummy.

My seafood spaghetti! I love it!
Ori price for this was RM24.90 so buy one free one promo, one plate is actually RM16.
CHEAP ISNT IT?!

And then the squid ring on others table kept on attracting me. So, after I persuade him for so long, we finally ordered! It was kinda cheap but I forgot the price.

KL life

This was seriously a late post as I had lived here for about 2 weeks time. I was quite 'FREE' actually but just couldn't gave some times to write the post. DANG! LAZY =D

***
Went back to the day I still in Kuching, I boarded on the night flight to KL which was different with my other friends, so i was also doing my last minutes packing on the morning. Parents get half day off because i had to went to airport in the evening. So during the noon, all of the friends came to my house and see me packing. =.= And thinking what i should bring or should't bring.
Mr Ma, as my personal secretary had been assigned by me to make a checklist of things i need to bring! HAHA! However, still many things i didn't bring it over.

Went to Imperial Duck with friends and family before heading to the airport. Everyone must be weird why this parents had 6 childrens that looked same age but with different faces! HAHA!
Headed to the airport, there were 5 cars in a row! Sounds so exaggerate just like i'm married. This is what my friend said. It was kinda! LOL.

Thanks for sending me off and waited me to board on the plane. Seriously, there was lot of time while waiting to depart. And I didn't manage to give a Goodbye hug to everyone of u. Actually I don dare to because i knew i will cry! HAHA! So, in order not to mempersiasoikan, I chose not to. =)

Touched down at KL and started a whole new life. Meet my brother the next day to do some shopping for households stuff. Went to IKEA because I wanted to try the meatballs! Finally!

This was seriously HEAVEN! SO nice! And it was not expensive at all! The deli wings cost RM3.80 for 2 pieces! HOW CHEAP IS THAT!!

So, the Chee siblings finished all these. Now you know why we love foods.
After that, shopping time at IKEA! I seriously love the deco and furniture there and i wished to move everything back to Kuching.

Spent about RM300 for everything that I needed! So happy with all the goods I bought!
During night time, it was raining and brother asked me want to eat what. So, I decided to try out at Ketam Village.

An ideal meal on the raining night! Steamboat Shabu Shabu. It was nice and quite big in portion. And the price was reasonable. My tomyam soup and brother's curry soup.

This was my house for the next 2 years! Quite clean and everything was NEW! HOHO!!Connaught Avenue Condominium. The only disadvantage was that hard to access to Public Transport. Sigh!
We stayed at the 13th floor and all my housemates and roommates were my classmates in college.
HOW LUCKY WE ARE! =D *and if u know bout my course and college things, we had some special treatment!

Then the orientation that last for 3 days started and everyday we got free shuttle bus to bring us from our hostel.

Nah, so this was our shuttle bus. I was quite a shock because it look liked Bus Persiaran more than a school bus. Anyway, the air con was cold enough and the seat was comfy enough! GOOD!

During the last day of orientations, it was too boring so I decided to sneak out and had breakkie and lunch with Leslie! Our first meet up in KL!

Went to this newly open restaurant and tried out the food. The food was so so only but the environment was really nice! I love it when everythings is in blue and i can feel ocean.

Also went to Time Square indoor theme park on one of the Saturday with friends. It was quite exciting!

The first experience of stucked inside the KTM for more than 2 hours! GOSH!! On a lovely saturday night, we felt so lifeless when we laid on the bed on 7.30pm. So we decided to go to Midvalley. But We havent reach Midvalley already stucked in the KTM for so long. When we reached, every shop was close. WTF! reached Midvalley but took taxi back home.
WHAT A NICE EXPERIENCE!

We almost cooked at home every night to save money. BUT idk why i still spend a lot! sigh. The first week was totally a monk because the meat seems not fresh. But after our first try for fried chicken, we dont care the freshness anymore. WE JUST NEED MEAT!
Maggie during midnight always becayse i was too hungry at midnight and idk why. =(

That's all. =D

Koreana Restaurant

My farewell dinner again on the Sunday night as i'm flying off on Monday!
Venue : Koreana Restaurant @ 101

Always wanted to try out there because it always full house almost every night. So, this time we gave it a try! Went to Seoul Garden before and kinda satisfied with everything there.
But still, i loved Japanese food more than Korean food! HEHE!
The menu and all the food were kinda expensive compare to western and others.

It was double storey shoplot and this was the second floor. Simple dining environment.

Ordered a pot of green tea and i forgot the price already. I dont really liked the smell as it was kinda different with local green tea! HEHE

The side dishes that can be refilled every once u finished and it was FOC!!
Overall was good or maybe we were too hungry that time.

Girls of the night and do we looked like OREO?

Boys of the night!

As we did not know which one nice so we ordered own dish instead of sharing BBQ stuff.
L1: some sort of seafood noodles, kinda nice and a bit spicy.
L2: Bibimbap, a kind of rice mixed with vege, beef and egg with the sauce.
R1: Cold noodles, it was REALLY cold and got ice inside the noodles.
R2: another kind of noodles and it was cold.

Kinda regret for not ordered the Grill pork or other things because those seems like the popular one. I not really like cold stuff and the sauce was a little sweet.

Pancake
We really love this dish and it was filled with different veges.
The price range from RM20 and above for each dish.

Enjoying our side dishes while waiting for the food to be served.

U know what is the purpose for doing this ? HAHAHA! We 'Yam Seng' not because as a farewell for me but is because we had put some vinegar into Amelia's cup of tea!
HOHOHO!!!

After she drank, she shouted @£$%^&*£$..
And we =D, =), =]

Oreo girls =)

Group photo of the night

Next round : The Junk Backstage
Chit-chatting and drank at there.
The moments with them.

 Say cheese =D

Leslie came back for few days and i had met him a lot at KL these days.
