An adventure getaway with my gang since everyone was in Kch for sem break but my sem break was the shortest!! T.T NOOOO!! Anyway, I had backed in KL few days ago and going to blog everything that I did in my holidays!
Date: 13-14 August 2013
Destination: Bako National Park
Although I had went to BNP before with my classmates but I did not climbed to the top due to time problem so this time our purpose was to see the cobra rock which was a must when you at Bako!
Had breakfast at Yeow Kee at 101 and then bought BBQ stuff and headed to BNP. The journey took around 35 minutes. It's actually quite near from city.
Reached the jetty of Bako
FYI, the transportation to reach BNP was SO EXPENSIVE!
One boat only can accommodate 5 people and we got 6 people! Oh hell! =.=
That mean we must get 2 boats!
Return boat tickets for per boat is RM94 which means we spent RM188 for total 6 of us!
Entrance fee cost RM10 and no any Mycard discount and whatsoever.
Below 18 its RM3
I considered it as EXPENSIVE because the last time I went it's only RM5!
And the funny thing is that they provide accommodation for 6 person in a house but boat only max 5 person! Ridiculous I should say. Management, Don't only target on foreigners, it's the local's property ya know ?
Okay, ignore my complaints. However, BNP still a great place I shall say!
Before stepped in the boat. Beware of crocodile in this river!
The scenery was breathtaking! Sarawak's tropical forest! No other country can actually compete with us =D Be proud Sarawakian!

Welcome to Bako National Park! As we reached before check in time, so we put our stuff in the store room and prepared ourselves for jungle trekking.
It had been long time I didn't do such extreme exercise! Really F tired man!
Still young, happy and excited before headed to the trail!
There are many trails in Bako and the most challenging one is 7 hours 35 minutes per way! Oh my! Big clap to those who chose this but definitely not US.
We chose Teluk Pandan Kecil, it's a trail to the beach and see the awesome popular rock!
It took around 1 hours 30 mins to reach.
Here we go!!!
It was actually not trekking in the jungle but mostly under the hot sun! Extremely burned and hot!
Please bring cap or umbrella if not u will be barbeque human like us.
4 types of road you will encounter in Teluk Pandan Kecil trail. Seriously, I hate the staircases the most!
Damn it's so tiring!
look like the broken earth surface? HEHE
This place used to sink under the sea that why the surface was very special!
Had some cloud 9 to boost our energy!
Seriously TIRED, HOT, DEHYDRATED!!!
Under a big hot sun like us seriously no kidding man!
We almost there!! Almost!! So near yet look so far!
FINALLY!!!!

walked a short journey to the beach
Sunbathing might be a great idea but not for Asian =.=
This 2 fellows were dancing 'I'm Sexy and I know it' Then we joined and recorded a instavideo!
LMAO!!! My friends are always that silly and Kongkam.
Activities on beach, catch little crabs and bulit house for them and then release them. =.=
After that, we then headed back to our chalet. Tired to the max and hungry!
A big family of monkeys welcoming us
This was our chalet! RM159 per night.
there are 2 rooms with 3 beds each, kitchen, toilet and a bathroom.
*sorry photo was taken when we checked out so very messy. >.<
We were so hungry after came back from trekking so we ate our tuna bread on the balcony!
THEN THEN THEN!
This fellow smelled it and came to us! Seriously the monkey there not scared of u! It decided to jump over and snatch our things then we shouted and run into room.
Quite worry about the BBQ at night because of monkey! I do not want to share my chicken wings with monkey! =( Emo for this!
Evening time, the boys preparing for the fire and we girls prepared the food.
Luckily monkey did not come out during night time! Phew!
BUT BUT BUT!
4 wild boar under our chalet and we so worried they will attacked us. =.=
BBQ night! Enjoyed it very much! It went on smoothly without any attack =D
So long didn't BBQ with them and frankly this time we didn't bring any alcohol for trip!
SO NOT OUR STYLE! hahaha!
During the BBQ time, jeff throw ice for the wild boar and it enjoyed the ice very much! We said it was Jeff's son!
Then, we keep everything in the room but just left a polystyrene ice box outside because Hee claimed that it was too heavy and no monkey will able to move it. Since it's her property so we just put it outside. We then begin our sweet dream.
SUDDENLY IN THE MIDNIGHT! WE WERE AWAKE BY LOUD SOUND OUTSIDE! WE DONNO WHAT ISIT THAT MAKE THE CHAIR FALL. WE WERE TOO SCARED TO HIDE IN THE ROOM WITH TORCH LIGHT!
after awhile when the sound gone, we headed outside together and this was what happened.
Attacked by the wild boar! It ate all the ice in the box. =.= We blamed jeff for that! Sleepy faces in the midnight. Then we went back to sleep but again it attacked after few hours. We ignored it then.
Morning peeps! Enjoying Kolomee brought by Raph's Ah Kong all the way from Kuching!
Prepared to check out as check out time was 11am.
This fellow come again! 4 monkeys run into our kitchen open our freezer and eat Chocolate!
Lastly, Leslie scared all of them away!
SO NAUGHTY the monkeys

During the stay at BNP, we were the only Local and all fulled with foreigners! Very sad case because people flew so far just to see the amazing's mother nature but we do not appreciate it.
Told by the park warden and I couldn't agree more on this!
