Homebound

Hello readers =) This post is just a recent update of mine
Finally i'm having my 2 weeks break in my lovely hometown and I gonna finished all the previous post before I start to introduce the tourist attraction in Kuching!

STAY TUNE IF YOU WANT TO KNOW MORE ABOUT KUCHING =D

Just backed from 2D1N Trip to Bukit Lembing, my first ever organised company trip where I involved in everything from head to tail. Gained a lot of experience during this trip, I was glad to have this opportunity and I sincerely thanks for it =D

Going to start my internship soon with more exposure in travel industry, the excited part is that i'm going to explore more and more places in Malaysia! I just can't wait! There is already a long list of destination to visit! Hopefully i can go as much places as i can in this 4 months time!

Till Then

High Tea at the Orchard Room

Yeah, high tea time at the Orchard Room of Majestic Hotel =)
Went on last week but was told that it was fully booked and you must book '1 and a half month in advance' for the orchard room - according to the butler... Okay....So we managed to secure the seat for today! =D Thanks for footing the bill boss =)

Paid the deposit for RM100 in advance and this was my love letter LOL

The colonial room

While waiting for our table =)

It was so so so beautiful and also my first time to had my afternoon tea in this awesome environment!
I thought it would be hot but HAHAHA I was so wrong because the air con was so strong!

The happy girl just couldn't resist not to take photo with such beautiful place!

Sometime, you just need to leave everything behind and enjoy while you can because #YOLO =D

Beautiful orchids and they were all REAL!! Girl just loves flowers!

Good service and hospitable butler =)

The set for 2 person =) Tasted not bad and no big difference with the one I had in Intercontinental Hotel...But of course the environment was rated 10/10

Also included in the high tea

The value of a thing depends on where it had been placed - so true because a tower like this can cost around RM200

Enjoying my high tea =D

complimentary puff? It was too spicy for me @@

Truly blessed =)

Thanks for making me blossom like flowers =)

Last but not least, a selfie of mine =)
Thanks for everything that happened, to make a better me
I learnt to appreciate, to cherish everything I had now
Even the past was dark and dull but it made me grow
Because I know there is someone to hold me up when I fall down badly
And I will always remind myself not to take things for granted =)

3D1N Trip to Hatyai

A throwback post again, a last minute planned trip to Hatyai on 23rd - 25th of May with my group project mates for Food & Culture subject. Since we need to make a dish that well represented the country, then we chose Thailand and we decided to go there to understand more about the culture! *HAHAHA!! excuses for wanting to go travel! It was my first time travel with them despite Jean & Amber and it was really a wonderful trip! Thanks Abang Syam for planning everything and tour us around there HEHE

So we sat the express bus to Hatyai on Friday night and overnight in the bus. Actually planned to buy train instead of bus but it was sold out. And we hesitated quite a long period of time whether to continue for this trip because there was booming in Hatyai. Everyone around thought we were crazy because we went during the dangerous time but thank god nothing happened =)

Waiting to board on the bus at Pudu Terminal. Alisan Golden Couch that got Wifi on the bus! HAHAHA! However, I slept all the way to Hatyai! HEHE

Sat for more than 10 hours and my butt almost flat already! Checked in Asian Hotel which located in the city centre. Good location and easily accessed to place =)

So what is so special about Hatyai ? This trip was all about food! We started our food hunting once we arrived and we totally forgot we came here for assignment purpose! HAHAHA
Whatever, who cares? Food and tourism are interrelated =D

My tourism gals, fooling around in the room while waited our turn to bath! HAHA

All the street food was DIRT CHEAP!! and looked so tempting!

Bought Mango Sticky Rice! A must EAT dish in Thai! super duper loved it! Only 35 baht omggg!!
Damn it was so cheap! I wished to buy one lorry back here!

Sawaaadeekaaaa =D The Mcdonald that you can find pork burger! HEHE

Love this bird egg so so so so much lah!!

After visiting the floating market, we went for a special show at night which gave me culture shock! Everyone know Thai popular for what show so I no need to further elaborate. Different kind of experience I shall say @@

The morning market of Hatyai! Last day here OMG time passed so fast!

Started to look for the ingredients for the making of Som Tam

Having breakfast at one of the shop with all kind of different food tapao from the food street!

Okay, what to shop in Hatyai? AMust BUY THINGY!!
Nah it's Lays! Because it was super cheap! I bought few months supply of Lays back to KL! HAHAHA! only 25-35 baht then you can bought a packet of Lays! Which is equivalent to RM2.50 - RM3.50

The most happy shopping time was at 7-11! I just mad loved their 7-11!

On the bus back to KL =( Pulut Ayam, our favourite! And I was really lucky because aunty want to close shop ady then I begged aunty for give me 4 thigh for 100 baht! HAHAHA!

So a sum up about Hatyai Trip, perfect place for a little getaway.. everything was so so so cheap and affordable! Food was nice, people was nice! Everything was AWESOME!
