Birthday Redemption Korean Meal

Okay, a throwback post again HAHA
Redeemed my late birthday meals from my friend, thank you very much! =)
Went to Ampang - known as Korean Park where there were many many traditional korean restaurant opened by Korean! And I finally got the chance to try one of them.

Venue: Nak Won
It was full house when we went there and waited awhile to be served
*Limited pictures oopss!
We don't know how to order so end up order quite a lot! Hmmm
But I also kinda proud of myself for eaten so much food! Sorry I had scared you with my appetite. HAHAHA

The side dishes got 9 types! Whoaaa! Normally only 4-5 kinds for the one I tried before

Their Kimchii was nice and I super love the eggplant! Just loved the way it cooked

BBQ Pork belly! This was so YUM!!
Eat with the vege and their sauce and garlic! Their sauce was awesome! Me likeyyyy

You thought that's all? HAHA! Not Yet!
We were too crazy and almost whole table full of food! *I'm not the one who ordered! HAHA
First time tried Korean style fried noodles? Not really liked cold noodles but this one surprisingly nice!
Then seafood pancake and Kimchii soup with noodles inside
It was seriously too much but we still managed to finish all of the food! HAHA
Of course except the VEGE!

Impressive isn't it ? HAHAHA

FOC fruits and barley water *Sorry for this ugly picture oops

After that, went to Pav and watch black comedy! HAHAHA a very stupid movie I shall say
But kinda funny lah..
Before movie, dessert time =.=
Gelato ice-cream! How to not be fat you say? Sigh~
Then, went to changkat for the first time and experienced their happening at night.
And I found that the restaurant that I celebrated my birthday had closed down! OMG! only in less than 1 month time =(

Traditional Korean Restaurant, the boss was a Korean =) Guessed what ?! NO SERVICE TAX AND GOV TAX! so hard to find a shop with no tax in KL! even foodcourt apply service tax.

Sopoong @ Time Square

Where to have lunch everyday after class was really a big headache for us!
Because other than the economy chicken rice behind time square kopitiam, Kim Gary, KFC and Mcdonald, we really did not know where else to go! So every time we took a long time to decide a venue.
This time, planned to try out their Korean food as they had lunch set promotion =)

The lunch menu promotion

It was operated by Korean so the environment was kinda Korean feel

Jean's Bibimbab RM12.90

Amber's kind of bento RM10.90

My ramyum and because I wanted to try the kimbab RM16.90

Bulgogi Brothers @ Pavilion

This was definitely an old throwback post. It happened the week before I went back to Kuching which was the head of May and now is the head of June already. Great procrastinator I'm.
Okay, so Mr bernard went to KL and we had a small gathering with Leslie.
Went to Bulgogi Brothers @ Pavilion for a short lunch break.

At 6th floor of Pavilion, nice environment

First try Korean food in KL, I loved their chopstick as well

The lunch set menu was kinda cheap and it comes with side dishes.
So, 3 of ur ordered Bulgogi Bibimbap Set, Chicken Bibimbap Set and Unyangsik Bulgogi Set
Bulgogi brothers was very popular on their beef, so it was the MUST try dish.

A jug of hot corn tea which is refillable! Those are all the side dishes and all of them can refilled except the corn dish

The yellow circle one is potato corn salad and very nice! Their kimchii also very nice and I loved their pancake as well. Pretty delicious to me

So, I ordered this one and I really really loved their BEEF! Very nice when you dipped with the sauce!
For the noodles, it's only normal bee hoon with soup. Nothing special. HAHA
RM25.90

Leslie's Bulgogi Bibimbap set RM23.90
Quite big in portion and Yummy!

Bernard's Chicken Bibimbap set RM22.90

Bulgogi VS Chicken
So if you asked me which one do I prefer, both dish were nice and quite big, the sauce for bibimbap was nice too! I still preferred Bulgogi because beef seems more special than chicken.
overall rating: 8/10

Enjoying our meal and chit chatting! So long we BROTHERS didn't chit chat together already!

So, someone had bought S4 and we tried the selca by saying 'cheese', 'shoot' and all sort of words for S4 to detect. That why this photo a bit blur~
Had a really nice time catching up with them and I had to rushed back to school to continue my classes after this short lunch =D
