Siem Reap Day 1

This Cambodia trip was happened during 29th of Aug until 2nd of Sept a 5 days 4 nights trip. Sorry for my very extremely late delay because I was so busy! HAHA! YESH! BUSY for nothing =.=
Booked this ticket with my roommate Jean during midnight when we saw FB that there is AA promo. So, we then booked to Siem Reap without any hesitation because Angkor Wat is going to fall someday? In order not to miss this UNESCO site, we booked it at RM235 for return flight from KL to Siem Reap =) So the travelmates for this trip was the loving birds. Oopss, (I'm so bright!)

We booked the super early flight in the morning! *Was damn regret after realised when planning for the trip! I guessed we were just too sleepy that time so booked it wrongly.
Took cab to airport from our hostel and had our breakfast at Old Town. Seriously this breakfast was damn expensive! Sigh~

First time ever travelling with them =)
Actually was kinda worry before we went because Aug to Dec was actually their raining season and if we are UNLUCKY enough, there might be flood in the city. We was like OMFG! So we did prepared raincoat and umbrella and also booked a hotel with swimming pool for PLAN B, just in case it rain and we couldn't go anywhere.

Finally reach Siem Reap after around 2 hours flight! The weather was HOT!! FYI, the time there was slower than Malaysia 1 hour. So we reach super early. =.=
Took a cab to the place we stayed and it costed USD7! We didn't know most of the hotel there provide free pick up at airport. Pffff!

FYI again, they don't use their own money and they use USD unless it is not a whole figure. For example, USD2.50 will be using 2USD dollar and 50sen will be using Riel (Their currency).
1USD = 4000Riels
*So, no need to change any Riel because when you spend, they will give u the remaining balance in Riel

AND THIS TRIP WAS AN UNPLANNED TRIP EXCEPT FOR HOTELS! WE DO NOT PLAN FOR THE ITINERARY.
So, We reached the place we stayed for 2 nights!
Golden Butterfly Villa
STRONGLY RECOMMENDED THIS VILLA TO EVERYONE WHO IS VISITING SIEM REAP!
Wonderful services provided with only less than RM70 per night! Can you imagine this?!
Perfect location while you can reach pub street and night market in walking distance!
Awesome food available at the hotel's cafe!
On top was the welcoming drinks for us and I LOVE the banana chips so much!!

Our comfy bed in the room. Since we got 3 people so they only charge 3USD per night for extra bed!
After that, without any planning, we went out and explore the city ourselves.

Each of us rent a bicycle for a day and total cost 5USD! BUT when we backed to our hotel at night we just realised we can used it for FREE from the hotel. Super dumb ass us =.=
It had been so long I didn't cycling around and not more to say on the road where there was so many cars and Tuk Tuk around. Was so panicked at first but after that was quite used to it because most of the cars drive quite slow! Hehe.

So, we cycling under the super hot sun which made me look like charcoal bun now! DAMN! should have bought sunblock!
IDK where is this I only know this was a temple and we cycled to everywhere we want without any map and purpose.

Again, another unknown temple! HAHA

Simply cycling around the city which I totally had no idea with, I don't feel scared at all and I did not know why. Maybe because all the Cambodian were so friendly. It was definitely a friendly country!

Since the weather was too hot, we stopped here and parked our bicycle under the shade! This place was actually like a Korean shop that sell mushrooms? We donno and there is communication barrier so we leave after that.

Their old market for selling all kind of souvenirs and scarf and everything.
Must know how to bargain the price by 70% lower! They will usually give when you wanted to leave!
Not to worry u might missed it because mostly all the stall there sold the same things. =.=

Their wet market? We did not explored further though

Some froyo to cool ourself because we felt like dehydrated soon!

Had lunch at the coffee shop outside the street of our hotel! And everything we walk passed they will called us loudly! Maybe because they like Ting? HAHAHA
The Traditional food in Cambodia : Amok (on the right)
Due to the super hot sun, we planned to back to hotel and had a rest.

The complimentary full body massage for all the guest who stayed there!
AWESOME!!!!!!

After massage, prepared ourself and out for dinner
Went to the new market at another side and that time there was little rain. Riding bicycle under rain? HAHA my first time experience!

Spot my newly bought pant at USD4. It was USD10 at first! HAHAHA
*proud of my bargaining power!

Went to Red Piano for dinner! A popular restaurant we found in the Apps.
It's the place Tom Rider was shoot. Where Angelina Jolie came here!
Nice environment and nice food too!

Top Left : Prawn with cheese and tomato sauce! yummy when dipping with bread!
Top Right : Ting's Lok Lak (Cambodian traditional food) cooked with beef
Bottom Right : Mine Chicken Cordon Bleu! With many many cheese! yummm
Bottom Left : Jean's Carbonara
Overall of this cost not more than USD25!

Till Then, will continue day 2 soon =)
